As a not-for-profit registered cultural organisation, our aim is to promote and present the very best of Croatian visual and performing arts to the general public. We strive to build a closer relationship between the Australian and Croatian communities through the appreciation of art and culture.

THURSDAY 19th September at 7 pm – Ufuraj se i pukni/KEEP CALM AND SNAP (2019) Ages 12+

The Prist brothers are at a crossroads, preparing for their acting studies. Kreso, the older brother, has a hump and too much confidence. The other brother, Kruno, who can't properly pronounce some words, finds out he has failed his entrance exam at the Faculty of Forestry and his girlfriend has left him. They chose their neighbour Crcek, who lives in the same building, to supervise their preparations for studying acting. Crcek is one of those characters who can't do anything right, but at the same time he is likeable, chatty and ready to help.

Sinisa Mesjak is an ambitious politician who gets involved in a scandal. In order to keep him away from the public eye, the government sends him to Trecic, an isolated Croatian island with no telephone or internet signal.

We recently received federal government approval to be listed on the National Register of Cultural Organisations (ROCO), allowing us to accept tax deductible donations from individuals and companies alike.
